Zach Swenson Artist Bio
I'm a Georgia-born artist currently residing in South Carolina, drawing inspiration from the everyday beauty that surrounds me.
My roots in the Southeastern United States profoundly influence my artistic vision, reflecting my roles as a father, husband, son, friend, and local community member. While my artistic journey spans various mediums, from music to visual arts, my aim remains consistent: to convey my personal experiences authentically while fostering connections with others.
As a seasoned musician with a career spanning 25 years, I've had the privilege of recording, performing live, and touring extensively across the country. Music has not only been a source of passion but also a means of giving back to my community in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). Over the past 15 years, my involvement in charity events has helped raise over $1.7 million for local causes. While accolades such as "Augusta's Best Drummer" and "Band of the Year" are deeply appreciated, my most cherished musical memories stem from performing alongside my father, Steve Swenson, whose influence continues to resonate with me, even after his passing in January 2023.

As an artist, I channel my experiences and upbringing into a diverse array of mediums, including music, sketch, digital art, audio, and video.
Growing up in the Southern United States as part of a mixed-race family, I've confronted stereotypes and misconceptions head-on, using art as a platform to challenge these notions and highlight our shared humanity. Through my work, I aim to bridge divides and showcase the common threads that bind us together, regardless of background or circumstance.
